The Ancient Greeks believed in several of gods and goddesses. They believed that the better life they lived,
the better after life they would have. Everything was to be in control of the gods. In each town a temple was built for a
god or goddess. These temples were large and beautiful. Sacrifices of animals or praying were commonly done in the temples.
